Adult Neurogenesis

The conference will:
• Comprehensively discuss the origin of new adult neurons, their function, alterations of adult neurogenesis in disease, and their potential therapeutic modulation;
• Focus on the translation of basic research on adult-born neurons into clinical medicine with the potential for treating stroke and various neurological and psychiatric diseases;
• Promote the development of new research networks in Europe and beyond to accelerate progress in this exciting and rapidly evolving field.
