T cell Function and Modulation Meeting

Understanding the principles of T cell function allows for the potential to manipulate the outcome of hosts with disease. This conference will bring together some of the most talented scientists involved with understanding T cell function and will promote discussions regarding using the information for possible therapeutic intervention. This meeting will also help promote the 100thanniversary of AAI by having some of the best T cell scientists also attend this historic meeting.

Our meeting will be held at the Makena Beach and Golf Resort (http://www.makenaresortmaui.com/), which is located beachside on the south side of Maui where some of the best snorkeling and scuba diving activities in the world take place. There are also tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course that stretches from the ocean up to the foothills of the dormant volcano, Haleakala. The meetings will take place from 1:00 pm to 7:00 PM to allow for activities in the morning (typically the island trade winds are calmer in the morning for water activities and golfing). There will also be a group boat trip to the Molokini Crater. All activities will have separate charges, but some of them will be at discounted rates.
